Ar an leathanach seo
- In a field in Baile na Coille (Wood) stands an ancient Lios known locally as "Lisin Beag"
It is shaped like a lime-kiln but on closer inspection it is seen to resemble a miniature fort or dun.
Shrubs, briars and evergreens shut it off from view.
It is deep and narrow. Three flagged steps lead to a small underground apartment, narrow, dark and lonely.
The air is foul and as one enters feelings of fear begin to crowd on the mind.
Many legends are told in connection with Lisin Beag and here is one of them:
Shortly after the famine of '47, a poor farmer lived on a few barren acres near Lisin Beag.
He was in wretched circumstances having sold his one cow at the fair of Moyne, to pay the landlord.
Spring came and he had no seed.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
