- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)Many years ago there lived a very wise man in neighbour hood of a great mountain who knew of a rath or is now known as a fort where there was gold. He told a woman about it. She went to the rath with a spade and started to dig. All was in vain but, at last she heard the spade hit against an kettle. She looked down and lifted up the lid. There was nothing in it but ants. She put back the lid and took the kettle. She had to pass the house of a woman with whom she was always fighting. She pulled down the window and threw the kettle into the room. Next morning when the woman woke up she found a pot of gold pieces and she wondered where they came from and she had plenty of gold and silver. When the other woman was very poor.
