- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)Ballygarvey;Mr M McCullough Kinbally, Mr Dale and Miss Magill were drowned.This is an authentic story as I knew Mr Montford of Broughshane, and Mr McCarley.Mr McCullough, Mr Dale and Miss Magill all of Kinbally, were drowned.A rope was thrown out to them but it broke, and Miss Magill and some others were thrown back into the sea and drowned.This information was obtained from Miss Magill Kinbally, whose auntie was drowned by the wreck and and a tomb stone in the 1st Broughshane grave-yard tells the date of the happening which is as follows.
