- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)The "wee man" told the poor man to be at the well at the same time the next evening and he would be waiting for him. The poor man went to the well and sure enough there was the "wee man" and a big bag of meal at his side. Says the poor man wait to I get somebody to lift the bag on me. I'll lift it says the wee man, and such a lift the poor man never got. They arranged what evening the poor man was to bring back the bag of meal.
About a month after the poor went back to the well with his bag of meal and the wee man was waiting for him. Says "the wee man" "was it good meal?" The best I ever tasted says the poor man "It should be" says the wee man for it was the head grain in that clay field on the brae it was made from.
"When will I see you again" says the poor man. "Oh I don't know(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
