- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)witch who owned the "Cap of Lightness".
The old witch made porridge every night. One night Blackbrutches let a bag of salt down the chimney into the porridge and the witch would not eat it.
The witch ordered the servant to go for water to the well which was very far away in the fields. The servant asked for the "Cap of Lightness" but she was told not to be there till she was back again so she got the "Cap of Lightness".
When the servant came to the well Blackbrutches took the "Cap of Lightness" and shoved her into the well. "Blackbrutches Blackbrutches let me over the river and I will forgive you all" said the witch.
"I would advise you to stay where you are" said Blackbrutches. So brought the "Cap of Lightness" to the King.
"Now", said the King, "You have got two of the treasures but it will be hard to get the "Golden Quilt".
