- There is a well in Cappagh known as "Tobar na Naomh".
It is believed that it was blessed by St Patrick when he was passing through Cappagh.
It is situated in a valley at the foot of Sliabh Dert.
It is a round spring well, but the water would not boil no matter how long it is left over a fire.
There are many trees growing near it, the largest being a palm tree. There is an altar of stone beside it. The altar is not well built.
Every Garlic Sunday there was a pattern held there a few years ago.
Every person who went to the pattern left an offering at least a safety pin or hair pin, on the little altar.
There was a little wooden cup left beside the well, for everyone to take three drops of water.
