Ar an leathanach seo
- The ridges used to be made with the spade. The spades were made on the parish by Sean Dugan. There was no nag manure and the potatoes were sown early so as to produce a good crop.
The farmer uses a plough now, with which he makes drills. He pinches the potatoes sometimes that is spreads a shovelful of clay on the slits instead of closing the drills.
The potatoes we have are; champions Kerrspinks Sharp's express, Flounders, aran banners, Irish Queens, British Queens, and epacures.
