- The people made baskets of wicker or of sally rods. First they cut the rods and dried them, and wove them together to make the baskets.
Ploughs were made of timber.
Gates were made of timber.
Spades were made of iron.
All the clothes the people wore, were made by themselves out of wool. The people used to card and weave the wool. Then they made blankets and clothes of the wool.
Ropes were made of hemp and grass.
The people burnt all the lime they needed.
