- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)but he did not do anything to it he only wanted to let the Parish Priest know that it was his. He painted it inside and put the windows in it. He wouldent let a priest live on his land and I think the Priest used to live in Richard Browes house in the Parish of Mohill but on the corner of Yortletterugh Parish. After he took the chapel he knocked down the Parish Priest's house that was beside it.
This Lord Leitrem had land in Donegal and one time he was going to Donegal on a side car and I think it was a man named O Donell and a few other men came out on the road before him and O Donell shot him. The guns the soldiers had then were diffferent to the guns that they have now. When they put in the powder they had to put paper in after it. It was out of the school and my grand-mother went to that they got the paper they used. My grand-mother was from Donegal.- Bailitheoir
