   Roinn Roinn Postáil

   (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)

   They rest today in kindred clay 'neath monumental stones.
   Mid floral glades and silvan shades and decorated loams.
   Where Angelous Bells with holy knells send up their notes of prayer,
   To the Heavenly Lord whose Angels guard the loved ones sleeping there.

   Their work is done, their goal is won, eternally they rest,
   Side by side with those they loved, on Mother Erin's breast,
   Amid the consecrated shrines of men who fought and died,
   For the land of Tone and Emmet, of Pierce and brace McBride.

   Round their sacred tombs the shamrock blooms in green-clad mantles blessed,
   And on the wing the warblers sing o'er the grey hills of the West,
   In joyous throngs they thrill their songs, morning, night, and noon,
   To the Heavenly King their anthems ring round the hallowed graves of Cloone
