- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)said he could see a little man wearing green trousers and a red coat and shoes with buckles on them. He said the little man was playing a violin.
The people thought he was mad or that the drink went to his head. In a minute afterwards he shouted " He is going and I must go with him". In spite of the efforts of the people to keep him back he broke away. As Dan disappeared out of sight the music died away until it could not be heard at all. They say it was a fairy who brought him. This happened every year on bonfire night.- Bailitheoir
