The plains all around it are planted
With alder, ash, fir and dale
Courters do frequently haunt it
In silence their love to reveal
(III)The murmuring rill of its waters
When echo descends the cascade
Leaves lovers unfound by their parents
Sequestered in under its shade
In summer to view, tis pleasing
When nature her gift yields in bloom
Spontaneously all decorated
