The gentleman said nothing but left him there.
Another short story is told about John while he was residing in Kilflynn.
There was a Parson there whose name was Kid. One day John was walking in the Parson's field and the Parson came out and addressed him as follows:
'Do you know that you are trespassing in my field?' said the Parson.
