- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)country visit this Well on the 15th August each year. There is a path in a circle round the well. The people walk round on this path three times repeating three rosaries and this is called a station. To make those stations properly they should be performed barefooted. Most people bring some little present to the Holy Well such as beads, pictures, flowers etc, and nearly everybody brings some Holy water home. On the 15th August each year people are going to that Well from sunrise to sunset.
- At the beginning of the world when God placed Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden He forbid them to eat of a certain tree in the garden. When they broke his command he drove them out on the world to earn their own living by the sweat of their brow, and everybody since that time has to earn his or her living by work. If people have to work for a living they need not work continually without ever stopping.
