- There was a man there long ago, and his name was Macgill. There was a path through his field, and a priest used to go through it every morning of the year. At last the man warned him, and told him that he would shoot him if he would go through it again. This morning he watched him, and he fired at the priest, but he missed hi,. Then the priest read his prayer book, and tied the man to the ground. Then his sister asked the priest to release him, so he did, but he said he will never die in a house. About a week after that, he was found on the river bank dead.
