that I should sthay at home and so I did. I knelt down and said the three full of my bades for the dead man. I got up then and done a couple of wee triftins of jobs round the house. I milked the wee drop the cows had andmed a drop of good strong tay for meself.
When I had the tay drank. I went away rambling to meself. I came back from ramblin about half pasht tin. I fed the cows and the horsh. I came in and lit a fire and put down the kettle and left it boiling on the fire. I went out and sthud at the wall for a while looking round me. When all of a sudden Glory be to God what should I see but threee of the smallest little divls of men carrying a coffin and row upon row of we small women going after it. Lord save us they were crying like I could nt tell ye. The cried and cried until they pierched me very heart. I then knew what was in it. "The fairy funeral." Take the advice from me if you get word that any of your friends are dead and if you are toul to go to the funeral if ye dont go ye will mind of it.
