   To end the spoiler's reign;
   And bring back peace and happiness
   To the old land again.

   'Tis eventide - the sinking sun
   Goes down behind the hill;
   One lingering ray he casts around
   On castle, ruin and rill.
   Meet hour for me to seek the spot
