Ar an leathanach seo

In the Autumn when the potatoes are ripe they are dug with spades and piled in a heap along the field and then covered with ferns and earth. They leave them in the pits for a time but the crocáns are given to cows.
There are four kinds of potatoes grown in my place every year. They are. "Aran Scots", "Kerr Pinks", "Aran Banners" and "Champions". The Champions are the bet potatoes for eating but there is a much better produce in the Aran Banners.
The seed potato is called a sciollán. The sciollógs are the waste that are not for seed. The caistlans are the twisted ones. The seacaide were the frost bite potatoes. The small potatoes(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
