    Between the "Two Airs" that is just before daybreak, the air between night and morning was supposed to be very efficacious for invalids
    A child suffering from whooping cough was put in and out under the belly of an ass three times & this was supposed to cure him. The cross on the asse's back saved the child
    Sambo, saddle grass, & honey mixed together & made into a poultice was appled to swollen glands. This draws the poison out of the gland and cures the gland & leaves no mark.
    Soap & sugar made into a poultice was a cure for cuts especially deep ones & also to draw a boils.
    Cow dung was wrapped around a finger with a whitlow and it was supposed to be a certain cure
    Cobwebs were also placed on cuts to stop the bleeding.
