    that buys the animal. In some places there are special fairs for sheep, horses, cattle and bonhams but in other places there are not.
    In Mountmellick the bonham fair is every second Wednesday and the fat pigs are sold on each Monday. The fat pigs are weighed and the owners are paid for them according to the weight of the animals.
    The cattle fair in Mountrath is held on January the sixth. It is held in February on the twenty sixth day, in March on the nineteenth day, in April, when Easter is in that month, it is held on Easter Monday. It is held on May the tenth, on June the second, on July the second, on August the tenth, on September the twenty ninth and there is no fair in the month of October. The fair is held in November on the tenth day and in December on the second day.
