  1. There are two forts in the village of Moyne One at Creation's and the other at Kerreans. The fairies are supposed to visit each [interlined with carat: "other"] in these forts If people built houses on the path between these forts they would be haunted by fairies. These fort are surrounded by trees and no one on any account would cut these trees or pick sloes or berries that grow in them because the say the fairies would follow them to the house Children wouldn't be let near them because the say if they fell in them the fairies would them There is another fort in Duffy's field It is (cilc) circular in shape and there is a deep drain round it Luke Duffy saw a crock of gold A leprecan was minding it and he was gone while Luke was calling for help. The field this fort is in is called the fort field. Pooloofoocha is near Kerreans fort and the fairies are also supposed to visit it. If hay cocks were built on this hill they would roll down to the bottom
There is a big hill at Pooloofoocha
