digging. Before they had gone far they came to the gold. Then they gathered the tenants and gave them their money again.
When this was done the man would like to go home to Ireland but he was afraid. He thought of a plan. He got a budget made and he put the gold in it. He set out and on his way he met a tinker who said he was hungry. He spread out the towel and when they had eaten enough. The tinker pulled out a box and took a whistle and blew it. An officer jumped out and the tinker said, Take out a hundred men and do a bit of exercise. The tinker said he would exchange budgets and they did. Then they exchanged the towel for the box. When the man thought of the budget he pulled out the whistle and blew it. The officer came out and the man told him to go over and take his budget and towel from the tinker. He went off and took them off him. When the man came home his wife was angry because he was only gone a couple of weeks. His wife would not give him his tea. He took out the towel and spread it out.
