    a meadow of withered grass and lays up to eleven eggs. It sits on them for three weeks.
    Cuckoo:- it builds no nest but lays an egg in the sparrow's nest.
    If the swallow or crows fly low it is the sign of rain. If the crane leaves the bog and goes to the lake it is a sign of fine weather. If the seagulls go to the bog it is the sign of good weather. If the jacksnipe is screeching at night it is the sign of good weather. If there is one curlew by itself in bad weather and it screeching it is a sign that the weather will get fine.
