- Travelling people visit my district still. This mode of living has been handed down from generation to generation. The same people visit every year as their ancestors did. None of them are very poor.
Most of them sell something. Almost all people buy something from them. All the travelling people get their supplies in different places.
Most of the travellers are welcomed at every house. Hardly any of them remain longer than a night at a time. All of them that have caravans or carts or huts sleep in them, but the people that have nothing get lodgings in some old barn or stable for the night. No one of them carries food. They accept all kinds of alms.
