The ridge.
At the western side of Mount Gabriel hill there is a place called "the ridge". It is said that Fionn Mac Cumhail ploughed a ridge there from the bottom of the hill to the top with two sheep and when he went up to the top of the hill he took a big rock and threw it out in Schull harbour. This rock is now known as the Fastnet Rock.- Collector
