When evening came they climbed a tree and she pulled up the door after her and fixed it on the branches in order to stretch on it.
They were not long there when a band of robbers came and settled under the tree and had a fine feast. When they had finished eating they began to count their money. Nora seeing all the money and thinking how useful it would be to pay the rent threw down the door and frightened all the robbers who ran into a wood.
Nora and Daniel came down and carried away all the robbers' money to their own home and paid the Landlord the rent.
