- Michael Connell lived in Mountcain. In the year 1879 he was going back to Glenflesk castle to see Mr Coltsman. There was no clock then but people thought it safe to go out after second cock-crow. He fell asleep and when he woke he thought the cock had crowed unknown to him. It being a fine moonlight night he thought it was day. So he got up and he took his breakfast and he and his son went walking to the castle. When they were going up to the house owned now by Jer Fleming of Mountinfant.
