    There was a blessed well in Kilmallock, Co. Limerick. Every person that had something wrong with him would go to the well, and he would rub the water to where he was wrong. There was a rich gentleman living near the well. He was a Protestant, he had a very good racing horse. This well was for the people alone. The gentleman's horse got blind. He took the horse to the well and rubbed it to his eyes and he was cured. Three days after the gentleman got blind himself.
