   "All the fields around Tory Hill at the western side were orchards. They belonged to the priest (Fr. Hartnett: there were two P.P.s of this name see section 41 page 37). An orchard man had a bohawn built against the ruin (Chapel of Drom Asail section 53 page 23) and his job was to watch the orchards the fruits of which were stored in the ruin. The lads were raiding the orchard and the orchard man demanded a gun of the priest with which to frighten the lads. One night the man was very tired and he slept heavily. A red-haired man slipped into the bohawn and stole the gun for a joke. When the orchardman awoke, he missed the gun and went at once and told the priest his story. The priest promptly demanded the orchardman's two pigs in lieu of the gun. At that time pigs were kept for two harvests and grazed. They would be as big as young asses when they'd be selling them The orchard-keeper had the grazing of
