- Old Graveyards
The graveyard beside the village of Galbally is the only one in use at present.
It is said that there is an underground passage connecting it with the Moore Abbey. There is a cellar in it called "Gallen´s cellar", because archbishop Gallen of Cashel used to hide there during the penal raids.
There was a grave-yard on the land of (??) (??) Ardrahan. The field is now calledthe „black field“.
There is a graveyard in Gloubeg in the parish of Aherlow.
One evening two men named (??) and (??) went drinking. It got dark suddenly, and began to rain, so they put their backs against the wall of the graveyard (Gloubeg).
At midnight a lot of hurleys came out over the wall, and a lot of new jumped after them. Of course they got frightened and ran away.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Faisnéiseoir
