Anyhow as we came nearer we saw it was a person who was standing by the ditch and the face towards us as we came up along the road.
"Ah" said Denis "thats one of the Callaghans now trying to frighten us"When we came up beside here we saw it was an old woman that there."Were ye near I" said I to Willie. "Just as near now as you are to that dog there".
"What kind was she" I enquired.
"As I said before she was an old woman about 4' in height , she had a knitted shawl about her shoulder(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
