    A division of the Irish property was made after some years (Act of Parliament 1802) between Peter Count De Salis and the Earl of Sandwich.
    On the old road is the Bullan or Rock Well about one foot in diameter and carved in the solid rock as perfect as the interior of an egg shell. Ot was locally known as the wart well as old people had great confidence in the efficiency of its water as a cure for warts. They believed it was necessary to apply the water on three consecutive Sunday mornings before sunrise.
