- Stories of hidden treasures, the attempts to unearth them, and the weird happenings connected with such attempts are more appreciated in this part of the country than any other kind of tale, with the exception of hair raising ghost stories. I have heard many tales in connection with hidden treasures, but the following has impressed me more than the others, and I have a very clear recollection of it.(continues on next page)
