“One morning, two Cashel men were going to the fair of Cappawhite.”
One morning, two Cashel men were going to the fair of Cappawhite. As they passed by The Rock of Cashel, they saw a big ball of fire falling down from The Square Castle.
They were trembling with fear. One man said to the other: "Is it right (good) for us to continue our journey to the fair, or will we turn back?" The man answered & said: "We will go back, but not the same way as we came."
They went back the Circular Road, and as they came to the Thurles road, to their great surprise, they saw a beautiful procession coming from Cormac's Chapel and marching down that road. There was (beautiful) singing in the procession.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
