    now preserved in the Royal Irish Academy. The name of St. Sinech, though enrolled in the catalogue of Ireland's saints, is now scarcely known even in the locality where she lived. She belonged to that glorious period of our history the "Golden Age" of the Irish Church, when multitudes of youths and maidens rencounced all things to follow Christ. It was then that Ireland justly gained the title of "Ireland of Saints." In those saintly men and women who adorned the early Irish Church our country has a precious inheritance. Their names should not be allowed to perish but should live from generation to generation.
