- There did a man live in Shronell about a hundred years ago. His name was Thomas Murphy. He was in bed one night and he dreamt of a treasure being found at some bridge around Shronell or Ballinard. He said to his wife when he got up in the morning."I was dreaming last night of a jar of gold found underneath a bridge. His wife told him to go and find it, so he went up to the bridge of Ballinard and started to dig there underneath it. So he was digging away and he stuck his(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
