   Part of the land in the townland is hilly and part of it is good for grazing and tillage. There are a few woods in the townland and these are they:- Roe's wood, Molloy's "scrubs" and Casey's "scrubs". Roe's wood is three acres in size. Molloy's "scrubs" are about an acre in size and Casey's "scrubs" are about an acre and a half in size.

   There are not many rivers in the district. There is a small river flowing through Kelly's field and it is called Kelly's river.
