- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)in this district which was a source of great fun to the people. Two men came to the ladies' house, transacted all the business and started for home, a little the worse for having brought two bottles of whiskey. Charmed with their success they sang home, but lost their footing and fell into a bog-hole. When they arrived home they found a messenger before them saying the lady had changed her mind, owing to the fact that her home-to-be had a crooked chimney. The following rhyme is known locally :-
"Monday for health, Tuesday for wealth
Wednesday the best day of all
Thursday for losses, Friday for crosses,
Saturday no day at all."
