Ar an leathanach seo

First meal was mixed with hot water and salt. It was then left to stiffen for a half an hour. It was then made into a cake and baked against a stool. Boxty was made in the following way.
First raw potatoes were peeled and rasped. The water was then squeezed out of the rasp. The latter was mixed with flour, salt and bread soda. It was the made into cakes and put to bake.
Meat was used at Christmas. - Long ago the old people had two meals a day, these were their breakfast and supper. The breakfast was eaten before six oclock because they used to go to work.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
