- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)He noticed the straw freshly tossed and on account of the frost he could see tracks and prints quite plainly like as if there was somebody there. He looked about closely to see what it was and he found several plaits of straw all of different designs. Anyone that ever saw them was astonished at the workmanship. He also found a little graipe about 18 inches long. The graipe was loose from the handle and also the ring for the handle. My father saw the graipe - handle and ring and he thinks it is yet in the family but they are in America. It is supposed to be the fairies that left them after them.
