Ar an leathanach seo
- Some of the things they coloured with long ago were log wood and copporous. They used these things for colouring the wool of the sheep before it was spun. A pot of water was put on the fire then the log wood was put into it and left there simmering for some time then the copporous was put in. After that the wool was leased and put into the pot and left there for fifteen or twenty minutes. Then it was taken out of the pot and left on a riddle or basket and kept turned until it was dry.
