    Jack an the Lanthom
Jack was a blacksmith: he was a ruilleacan going kind of a let and sorra a thing ever bothered him if he could knock out a good time for himself.
One night Jack was going along a lonesome road and who did he meet but the devil, and what do you think but Jack sold himself to him for three powers.
The first was that anyone who would sit on a seat that was in the forge Jack could keep him there for as long as he liked.
The second power was that if anyone took the sledge from Jack he could not leave it down till Jack liked to let him.
The third power was that anything that Jack put in his purse he could keep it there as long as he liked.
