The Wren Boys wear curtains on their faces while others wear wizards. Some of the Wren Boys go around on Bicycles, others walk and others drive in motor cars. Some of them do not have good music so that they don't get much money. Most of them go around for sport others for money.
When St. Stephen's day happens to fall on a Sunday some of the Wren Boys don't go out to hunt the Wren until the next day but some go out on both days.
If there was no wren - [?] people would think it was not Xmas at all.
