Fig c:= A Gold Gorget of the same type as the one which was recently discovered by a Farmer in B. District Clare.

A Bronze dagger or Rapier: = was found by Mr C. Delaney of Shower, Newport, Co. Tipperary dated about the year 1400 B.C.
This was found by Mr Delaney when cutting turf on his bog. Attached to the blade by two bronze rivets is a wooden handle of excellent workmanship. This blade has been mortised into the the handle very neatly leaving the wood complete at the sides.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
