    Among the many travelling folk we see round this district the best known are:-
    Tom (Napper) Casey, a tinker; Tim Kermode the local jew man; McCarthy, an ass dealer; and Jimmy the Clown, a beggar man.
    The Cash's are horse and pony dealers who have been on the road for generations. They are reputed to be very wealthy and have beautiful caravans. They always attend the Big Fair of Banagher in September.
