   from Dublin to Limerick.

   The Old Rd. leads to Castletown Moat and there it meets the Castletown Rd. and continues on into Templemore. The Barnagrotty road leads to a little village named Borrisleigh and the Bog Rd. leads to Cloughjordan.

   The main trunk Rd. was made about eight years ago. The oldest road in this district is the Old Rd. They are all still in use. There are very old paths in my district. The names of them are - Thrumper's Lane and Piper's Lane which are at the back of my house.

   There is a mass path going through my grandfather's (J. Hunt. Esq.) field. It leads from the Barnagrotty Rd. to the Roman Catholic Chapel.

   In the summer evenings there is a dance board put up at the cross roads and all the young people of the district come to dance there
