  1. 1. It is better to wear out shoes than sheets.
    2. After washing your feet you should always put a coal of fire in the water.
    3. Water used for washing feet is supposed to cure yellow jaundice.
    In Tullow there were 16 shoemakes & one woman cobbler. The nails which they used were made from nail-rod.
