- Once there was a priest named Fr Gone in Kiltegan about 70 years ago. He stayed in the village with very wealthy business people. At that time drunkeness was very excessive in that country. On a Sunday morning he was very indignant and abused business people abut giving drink to persons already drunk. When he returned from Mass his belongings were outside his door as his landlady resented his Sermon at Mass. When the poor man saw he was evicted he did not know what to do. The Protestant lady in the Hotel opposite saw what had happened, sent a man for his boxes and brought them into the Hotel. She kept Fr Gone free till he got a house. So the next Sunday he told why he had change to the Hotel and said, that it would not be long until there would be grass growing outside his former landladys door.
