The pig is only a bonham which we bought at the fair last month, white is his colour. He eats potatoes, milk bran, and other things. When my father lets him out and wants him back he says "hurish hurish" and the pig comes running towards him. He lives in a pig sty. There is a small cross on the wall to bring luck.
The hens are of Rhode Island Red" breed. They are kept in a hen house which my father made from tar barralls. Most of them were bred at home. Some people have certain ways for setting eggs, such as marking them and turning them each thing. When my mother is setting eggs she puts a pencile mark on them so that if and other hen layed an egg in them she would know it.
They eat oats, potatoes, bread, and other foods. When my mother is feeding them, she says "Chuck Chuck" and the hens come running to her.
