    The Graveyard on John Jones' land...

    The Graveyard on John Jones' land, adjoining the Monastery (which is on Richard Jones' land) is on the Crickawn, and was really the scene of a battle. The King O'Tooles fought the Danes there. Now, the King O'Tooles lived in Castleruddery. They build a wall all around their land, and you can see it to this day. They made the lead ponds too.
    These Kings were afterwards buried in a vault in Donoughmore Church, and you know at that time it was Catholic. Well they were buried under the Altar.
