“The Graveyard on John Jones' land...”
The Graveyard on John Jones' land, adjoining the Monastery (which is on Richard Jones' land) is on the Crickawn, and was really the scene of a battle. The King O'Tooles fought the Danes there. Now, the King O'Tooles lived in Castleruddery. They build a wall all around their land, and you can see it to this day. They made the lead ponds too.These Kings were afterwards buried in a vault in Donoughmore Church, and you know at that time it was Catholic. Well they were buried under the Altar.Now, I have it from Bill Flynn himself, (Church Sexton in Donoughmore) that Mr Bolton(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
